1. Send Your Invites
Log in to your Celebrate account, and choose “Create New Celebration.” Then, it’s as easy as filling out the name of the person you’re celebrating, what the special occasion is, and letting people know when the videos are due. Now, you’re ready to send out your invites!
Who should you invite? Anyone who wants to celebrate your mom! This is a chance for you, your kids, and the rest of your friends and family to show her how much they appreciate her love and care. They don’t need to log in or download an app either, so even those who aren’t the best with technology can get in on the action.
2. Create a Theme
There are so many ways to celebrate your mom that your invitees might not know exactly what they should be talking about. If you create a theme, it’ll help your video contributors to gather their thoughts! Here are just a few ideas you can work off of:
- Have your invitees talk about their favorite memory of your mom
- Have your invitees share old photos and pictures
- Have your invitees thank your mom for a favour she did for them
Remember, videos can be as long as you want, so contributors have plenty of time to talk about how awesome your mom is!
3. Let the Videos Roll in!
Now sit back, relax, and wait for your contributors to send in their videos. Don’t worry if some of the videos are a bit rough. After all, not everyone’s a world-class director, and you can do some editing later on (don’t worry, we’ll help!).
4. Edit Your Video
The Editing Suite makes putting together everyone’s videos a breeze. Just drag and drop everyone’s video contributions together into the timeline, and reorder them as you see fit. Feel free to add photos, gifs, songs, and more! If your mom has a favorite song, you can upload it into the Editing Suite for an extra, personal touch.
5. Process and Share
You’re almost done! When you’re happy with how your video looks, go ahead and process the video. Don’t worry; you don’t actually have to do anything aside from pressing the “process” button (we told you it was easy!). Then send out your video, and let the laughter (and happy tears) begin!
